Science Communication
I have made it my mission to make the fascinating world of science understandable and accessible to everyone. To this end, I not only run this science blog, where I regularly provide insights into my research and current developments in the life sciences.
In addition to my blog, you can often find me at science slams, where I creatively and entertainingly present my research to a broad audience. My presentations focus on my favorite topics: Telomeres and their role in aging, cancer, and telomere-related diseases, as well as the development of new medications.
As a sample of my work, here is a video of my performance in April 2024 at Übel und Gefährlich in Hamburg, organized by Scienceslam.de. I always enjoy sparking enthusiasm for science and presenting complex topics in a way that is easy to understand and accessible. The video is in German, but I hope you get an idea how it works.
I am also honored to be a speaker at various conferences and events, where I deliver lectures and keynotes on aging research. Here, I share my knowledge and discuss the latest breakthroughs and technologies that could revolutionize our understanding of aging.
A special highlight of my career was being among the three finalists for the LifeScienceXplained Award for New Communication by Sartorius. This recognition motivates me to continue finding innovative ways to convey knowledge and bring science to life. I warmly invite you to explore my blog, watch my videos, and get inspired. Let’s discover the world of science together!

There are many opportunities to see me live, which I usually share on LinkedIn:
Follow on LinkedInI am also happy to develop individual proposals for your event. Whether it’s a classic 10-minute Science Slam, a 15-45 minute talk on the latest developments in aging research, or something entirely different. If it aligns with my focus, we can certainly discuss a tailored offer.
